Tips for visiting Dubai Aquarium with kids

Plan beforehand: Check the aquarium’s schedule, and plan your visit during less crowded times to avoid long queues.

Online Tickets: We advise purchasing tickets online to skip the ticket counter lines and potentially get some discounts. Follow my account to get details on how exactly we secured ourselves a good deal for a family pass.

Educational Talks: Check the schedule for any educational talks or feeding sessions, as they can be both entertaining and informative.

Snacks and Water: Don’t forget to bring snacks and water to keep the little ones energized during the visit. We bought light snacks to keep our preschoolers happy until we finished seeing it all and took a lunch break.

Comfortable Clothing: Ensure your kids are dressed comfortably, especially if there are play areas or interactive exhibits.

The Dubai Aquarium is worth it for its impressive collection of marine life and immersive experiences. It features a diverse range of species, including sharks, rays, and various fish. The tunnel walkthrough added a wow element and out of an out-of-the-world experience for our little ones.

With these tips in mind, you can confidently enjoy the impressive collection of marine life and immersive experiences at the Dubai Aquarium.

Things to note: The prices may vary based on the experiences you choose (e.g., tunnel, underwater zoo), so consider what aspects appeal most to you and your children. If you are looking to cut costs you could just choose to do the underwater zoo as you will get a decent glimpse of the sea life in the tunnel as you walk through the mall, even without a ticket.

I am a former Architect who left her career to follow her heart and passion, which involves travelling, photography and Social media marketing. I have stayed in a rustic village of Eastern Himalayas, swum with colorful fishes and corals in Fiji, lived with gypsy Banni villagers in Western India, interacted with Kenya’s Masai tribe, river rafted in the freezing cold river in Ladakh, lived and explored a quaint beach town of Tanga in Tanzania, took a 48 hour camel safari in the Thar desert of Rajasthan, sailed on a felucca on the mighty Nile river in Egypt and chilled with the Kangaroo’s in Australia. Needless to say I am always adding more experiences and places to the list.
