As you prepare to start kindergarten and step into the big, wide world, I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions. You’re about to explore life beyond our little haven, and I couldn’t be more excited for you.
My advice from years of experience:
As you grow, you’ll meet all kinds of people, and I want you to hold on to this: never let anyone dim your light. There will be times when others might say you’re ‘too much’—too joyous, too sensitive, too curious, or too passionate. But don’t ever feel like you need to change or shrink yourself to fit in.
Some people may not understand your bright smile, your loud cheer, or your unfiltered enthusiasm. You might come across some people who choose negativity, who may gossip or try to bring others down. It might hurt, but remember, managing their opinions isn’t your responsibility, what’s important is what you think of yourself .
Your focus should always be on keeping that beautiful fire inside you alive. Continue to laugh, love, and live just as you want. Take up all the space you need, and never apologise for being your vibrant self.
There will be challenges, of course, but you’ll also meet wonderful people who will cherish you just as you are. People who light up at your joy, who are proud to know you, and who see you as a blessing in their lives. Keep them close. 💖

Protect your heart and be resilient:
Hold onto your heart and protect it. Don’t let anyone take away your uniqueness. You, my darling, are perfect with all your quirks, your goofiness, and your incredible spirit. I wish I had learned this earlier, but I’m grateful that you get to grow up knowing your worth.
I’ve learned many lessons the hard way. Life may not always go the way you want it to, but never ever give up. Let your perseverance and resilience shine as you navigate school and life. Be your biggest cheerleader, and always follow your heart. There’s something special about you, something unique that sets you apart from others. We’re all unique in our own ways, and the moment we accept that, life becomes a lot happier. 😊

Looking forward:
As I look ahead to your next chapter, I have so many hopes and dreams for you. I hope you find success in the ways that truly matter—not just in academics, but in the qualities that make a person kind and strong: courage, resilience, kindness, and empathy.
Keep shining, keep laughing, and most importantly, keep being you. I love you endlessly.
Love,
Mum
